Training
So, you want to do this yourself?
Paramotoring is definitely one of the
cheapest ways of flight. However before
plunging in to the adventures and fun of
paramotoring there are some important things
to consider during your quest of your new
fantastic hobby.
As mentioned before, paramotoring is not
that expensive. Buying a good motorbike will
probably cost you much more then all the
gear you will need to actually get airborne
then feel free to
contact
me.
Find a good school or instructor:
This might not be so easy, there are plenty
of schools. However each school has its own
training system, equipment and price.
Never try to learn it by yourself: Although
some pilots could convince you to learn it
on your own, or they may learn you. Although
this is at first sight cheaper, you will
probably regret it later. You will not have
the good technique and this will probably
end in frustration and broken equipment. You
might even abandon paramotoring, just
because you didn't have a good training.
Check the qualifications of the instructor
and school: Don't hesitate to ask for the
formal qualifications of instructors. And
again, get informed about the instructor and
the school. |
